Interested in doing an undergraduate programme?
Choosing your university is about more than finding a programme. It’s about asking questions and taking a step towards fulfilling your potential. At Richmond we will develop your passion to learn and will support you to engage, work with and participate in a vibrant academic community where interdisciplinary teaching and learning is key to the curriculum. You can achieve this as part of a diverse, friendly, international community. Ever since Richmond was established almost 50 years ago we have offered an international experience and a global outlook. This has never been more important than it is today. We are a leading liberal arts university and the only one which awards both a UK and US degree. We are proud to have students from more than 60 countries currently enrolled with us in London. You can choose to become part of our vibrant and diverse international student community, where students are encouraged and supported to flourish in a mix of diverse cultures, backgrounds and perspectives.
One of the first universities to introduce the liberal arts to the UK, Richmond pioneered this multi-disciplinary approach. Diversity, choice and freedom are hallmarks of the Richmond liberal arts curriculum which will develop your multi-disciplinary skills and provide you with a unique and unrivalled experience. It allows you to begin your undergraduate degree by exploring a multitude of disciplines across the humanities, arts and social sciences, before having to decide from one of 19 majors (plus a longer list of potential minors) in a subject that you’re passionate about, providing more freedom and more opportunities.
Our pioneering liberal arts system will also give you great mobility, with the US credit system at Richmond helping students seamlessly transfer from one academic institution to another with the credits gained with Richmond counting towards their degree. And we welcome qualified applicants to join us in year one, two or three of the degree, with entry options in September, January and May.
Studying with us, you can immerse yourself in London’s culture, art, sport, history and entertainment, in a capital city voted in 2018 and 2019 as the best place in the world to study.
Our flexible approach to global learning and knowledge sharing means that you can also take advantage of exchange programmes with our international partners. All our degrees offer the opportunity to take an internship – in the UK or abroad – which will offer you invaluable experience in the workplace, providing you with a competitive edge on graduating.
