Join the Wellbeing Research Centre for an online seminar on sustainability

The seminar will be held on Thursday 9 June, 10.00-11.15am BST and will focus on how sustainability is now not only an intrinsic part of strategic management in fields such as banking and mining but also how it is being reflected in academic teaching in business schools.

We are pleased to have three excellent speakers as follows:

Caroline Haas – Caroline serves as Managing Director and Head of Climate and ESG Capital Markets at NatWest working closely with origination teams – both in the public markets and private finance arena – focusing on a holistic approach to sustainability, working with clients across products and markets, as well as providing ESG rating, regulatory and disclosure insights.

Michèle Bruhlat – Executive Director – The Copper Mark. With over 10 years of experience working on the design, implementation and independent assessment of sustainability standards, Michèle has evaluated and assisted companies at every level of the supply chain—from raw material to end product—and across multiple materials.

Marios Konstantinidis who is currently Associate Professor in Management at Richmond University has worked for a period of 25 years in banking and finance, specializing in asset management and commercial banking.

Whilst this event is being hosted by the Wellbeing Research Centre, it also marks the foundation of a new institute at the Business School, the Institute of Corporate Sustainability, which aims to contribute to the advancement of knowledge in the area of sustainability and deepen links with the businesses community in sustainability issues.
