Richmond seeking Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Finance and Operations

The University is seeking to appoint a Deputy Vice-Chancellor (DVC), Finance and Operations. This is a major leadership role reporting directly to the President, to work alongside the existing Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Academic, and with the University’s wider senior management, providing leadership to the finance department and to other professional services within the University.

With an exciting relocation to Chiswick Park in summer 2022 and building on foundations of academic excellence and high-quality student support, our new DVC will deliver performance improvements to advance our operations to the benefit of our students.

Our new strategic plan provides a strategy for institutional growth and the new DVC will bring a focus on financial performance along with a drive to maximise the strengths and expertise of the variety of teams within the newly established portfolio. The role requires a formal financial qualification along with experience of financial management in a complex organisation, ideally within UK or US higher education. Above all, it is important that candidates can be an exemplar for our values.
