Research Interest & Expertise:
My research focuses on new media technologies, specifically how the nature and practices of creative writing and narrative operate within this space. I am also engaged in professional practice as a web and graphic designer.

Biography
Sam Brooker joined Richmond, the American International University in London as Assistant Professor of Digital Communication in 2013, having completed a BA in Film and English Studies and a Masters in Digital Media Arts, a field in which he has published journal articles and book chapters. In addition to undergraduate teaching he provides MA supervision to new media practitioners, consultancy and web design services. His PhD focuses on the emerging field of Digital Humanities.
