The Richmond International Futures Scholarship is a new, £4,500 fee-reduction scholarship for high-achieving international students joining any postgraduate (Master’s) degree from September 2026, from selected countries in Africa, Asia, Latin America, and the Middle East. You do not need to make a separate application to this scholarship if you have already applied to a postgraduate degree programme at the University. Your programme application will be assessed for this scholarship by the Office of Admissions.

New students are assessed and selected for this scholarship based on merit (previous academic performance) and have received an offer to study on one the University’s postgraduate degree programmes.
Students can normally only receive one institutional postgraduate scholarship, so this would not normally be combined with other scholarships.
As well as meeting all requirements for entry to the programme, you will need to have paid your deposit to confirm your acceptance.
What are the Terms and Conditions of receiving the Richmond International Futures Scholarship?
All scholarships at Richmond American University London are awarded with terms and conditions for receiving a scholarship or award. When you accept your scholarship offer, you agree to these terms and conditions as well as your student contract – all are sent to you at the time of your offer of a place on one of our degree programmes.
To be eligible to receive this scholarship, you must meet the entry requirements to the programme and have completed an undergraduate degree, UK First class classification, or the international equivalent of this (equivalent to a 3.7GPA or higher).
Currently the Richmond International Futures Scholarship is based upon current fees. The university also reserves the right to adjust the value, volume and criteria of its scholarships should fees change.
The University will still endeavour to provide scholarships that provide students value for money and help students reduce student fee debt.
You may be eligible to receive this award along with loans from Student Finance England (SFE) or other personal funding options. The final calculation excludes SFE interest and is based on 48 months & 36 months comparison, it is acknowledged that universities will vary with start and completion times.
