Richmond Signs New Partnership with H. Lavity Stoutt Community College

Richmond American University London has formalised a new partnership with H. Lavity Stoutt Community College (HLSCC) in the British Virgin Islands, establishing both a student and faculty exchange programme and a 2+2 degree pathway that will expand opportunities for students on both sides of the Atlantic.
Dr. Richmond W. Georges, President of H. Lavity Stoutt Community College, said: “This exchange agreement with Richmond American University London deepens an already strong partnership founded on academic alignment and shared values. The exchange creates additional opportunities for students, faculty, and staff to engage across borders, broadening perspectives, strengthening academic collaboration, and reinforcing HLSCC’s commitment to delivering globally relevant education grounded in access, quality, and opportunity.”
The partnership will commence this Fall 2026, with students able to study on any of our majors. Dom Alessio, our Vice President of International at Richmond, said: “We are so pleased to have signed a partnership agreement with H. Lavity Stoutt Community College for both an exchange and a 2+2 relationship. We look forward to developing this exciting new collaboration.”
Founded in 1990 in the British Virgin Islands, H. Lavity Stoutt Community College is the leading accredited degree-granting community college in the Virgin Islands. Like Richmond, HLSCC is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education Middle States Commission on Higher Education, providing a strong foundation of shared academic standards that underpins the partnership.
