The newly formed Communications Society is kick-starting their initiatives with a panel event which will see some of our distinguished Communications alumni sharing their advice on careers after graduation from Richmond American University London.

You can gain some industry insights by joining the panel on Wednesday 22 March, 1.00-2.00pm, in Classroom 3, Chiswick Park campus, here are more details on the alumni attending:

Damien Ashton-Wellman, Visual Data & Vice-Chair for London, Royal Television Society
Damien graduated from Richmond with a BA (Hons) in Communications and Film Studies in 2017. He now works for Visual Data, a leading provider of post-production, and digital media technology, helping the world’s largest media and entertainment companies ingest, localise, transform, manage, and deliver quality film and TV to screens around the world. Alongside this, he is Vice-Chair for London of the Royal Television Society, organising events around the creativity, technology, and business of video creation, and a juror on the RTS Student Television Awards.

Prince Louis Nassau of Luxembourg, CEO of SIBE Meditation
Graduating from Richmond in 2014, Prince Louis is an owner of SIBE Mediation which merges the expertise of mediators with that of psychosocial and legal professionals. After graduation, Louis gained a Master’s Degree in Psychological Studies at Birkbeck University in London and trained with Béatrice Sauvageot, a recognised expert in this field. Prince Louis worked as a consultant for Laurent Meeschaert Conseil in Paris from 2017 to 2019, before setting up his own business. He helps dyslexic people to get to know themselves and gives advice on how to manage their dyslexia in the workplace.

Raven Marie Cooper, Commercial Operations Coordinator, NBC Universal
Raven is a Commercial Operations Coordinator at NBC Universal. She has worked at the company for two years coordinating and scheduling commercial material, directing campaign and sponsorship bookings, and creating media plans. Before she worked for companies such as Walt Disney, Information TV Limited and Channel 5 as a Presentation Scheduler. She graduated from Richmond in 2014 and has been making sure networking schedules run smoothly ever since.
