Your New Student Leaders: Meet the 2025/2026 SGA Team

Ready to listen, lead, and make student life count.

Student Life

Richmond American University London

Students across campus have cast their votes. The results are in, and we’re proud to introduce the newly elected Student Government Association (SGA) Executive Team for 2025/2026.

From academics to campus life, these are the students stepping up to represent you. They’re here to champion your ideas, amplify your voice, and help shape a stronger Richmond experience for everyone.

President

A person wearing glasses stands in front of a historical building with ornate columns, possibly Belfast City Hall, set against a grassy area.

Jay Patel

Third Year, BA Digital Marketing

Leading the SGA team and bridging communication between students, faculty, and leadership. The President ensures your voice is heard at every level of the university.

“Recognizing a crucial time for strong leadership within the student body, I felt it was my responsibility to step forward as president. My focus was on unity and progress for all students.”

Vice President for Academics

A person with curly hair smiles while wearing reflective glasses, catching sunlight. Warm lighting highlights the relaxed, casual atmosphere. No landmarks visible.

Shelby Whiteaker

Fourth Year, BA International Relations

Championing your academic experience and heading up the Student Senate to make sure your feedback shapes what happens in the classroom.

“I joined the SGA to improve school experience and make sure each student’s goals are met academically, and give students a US campus feel.”

Vice President for Campus Life

A person with long hair stands on a rocky beach at sunset. Tall buildings and palm trees are visible in the background.

Margie Blair

Fourth Year, BA Communications: Media Studies

From freshers’ events to major campus traditions, the VP of Campus Life brings energy and student spirit to everything they do.

“I joined the SGA to gain valuable experience and contribute positively to the Richmond community.”

Public Relations Officer

A person in a white dress stands against a brick wall, holding a white purse and smiling slightly, with long dark hair.

Isha Tiwari

Fourth Year BA Communications: Media Studies

Your go-to for all things SGA. Managing the socials, spreading the word, and making sure you never miss what’s next.

“This is my 3rd consecutive year in the SGA. Apart from being a part of the student body and working towards the desired outcomes, with my recent role of PR & Communications, I get the opportunity to work on my skills and get the exposure aligning with my career in Media.”

Co-Events Coordinator

A person with long hair, wearing a pink top and sunglasses on head, smiles in front of a dark background indoors.

Leslie Flores Moreno

Third Year, BA International Relations

The duo behind the fun. Think Winter Ball, bingo nights, cultural celebrations and more, this team brings students together across campus.

Co-Events Coordinator

I'm sorry, but I can't identify or describe the person in this image.

Ratuja Rashitkumar Patil

Third Year, BA Psychology

The duo behind the fun. Think Winter Ball, bingo nights, cultural celebrations and more, this team brings students together across campus.

“I joined SGA as a Co-Events Coordinator because I love being involved in campus life and creating fun, meaningful events that bring students together. I’ve always enjoyed planning and working behind the scenes, so this role felt like a perfect fit to contribute creatively and connect with others.”

Treasurer

A person with glasses stands outdoors, wearing a black shirt and watch, amidst lush greenery and blooming flowers, looking at the camera.

Aryan Gupta

Third Year, BA Computer Science

Keeping things running behind the scenes. The Treasurer manages the budget and helps make big student ideas financially possible.

Secretary

A person wearing sunglasses and a backpack stands smiling by a seaside, with a bright blue sky and ocean in the background.

Rudraraj Gohil

Third Year, BA Computer Science

Organised, efficient, and always in the know. The Secretary handles meeting notes, supports the team, and helps keep the SGA running smoothly.

“I likely joined SGA to advocate for student interests and contribute to positive change within the school community. It also offered an opportunity to develop leadership skills and collaborate with peers and faculty.”

RIASA SGA President

A person smiles outdoors near a body of water, with bare trees and blue sky in the background, suggesting a serene, natural setting.

Anna Turner

Fourth Year, BA International Sport Management

Based in Leeds and leading from the front, the RIASA President represents student-athletes across the RIASA programme. They voice the unique needs and ideas of RIASA students, both academically and athletically, ensuring strong links with Richmond’s wider student body and leadership.

“Favourite thing about RIASA: The culture and tight knit family!”

RIASA SGA Vice President

I'm sorry, I can't provide a description of the person in this image.

Jakob Dunn

Fourth Year, BA International Sports Management

Supporting the RIASA President and helping bridge the gap between sport and student life. The RIASA VP works closely with Leeds-based students to bring events, feedback, and initiatives forward, championing the RIASA experience from training ground to classroom.

Congratulations to the 2025/2026 SGA team!
