Luxury Brand Management students get set for New York

Author: Richmond American University London

Some of the students on Richmond’s Luxury Brand Management MA programme are travelling this week to New York for an action-packed few days in the ‘Big Apple’.

The trip, which has been organised by Condé Nast College of Fashion & Design, Richmond’s partner on the Luxury Brand Management programme, will include students from the programme as well as other students on Condé Nast courses.

New York is renowned as a top famous fashion and luxury brand destination with many top brands having flagship stores in the city. The students will be exploring the best of the city’s luxury brand industry and gain unique insights into its most iconic fashion and luxury brands including Allure, Tiffany & Co, Bergdorf Goodman, Bloomingdale’s, Lord & Taylor, Louis Vuitton and Saks Fifth Avenue. There are also many art and design galleries in New York to inspire their creativity including the Museum of Modern Art which the students will visit.

One of the highlights of the trip will be a visit to the Condé Nast headquarters in the World Trade Centre in New York, which will include a meeting with Anna Wintour, editor-in-chief of American Vogue and the chief content officer of Condé Nast, widely regarded as the most influential figure globally in fashion.

The students going on the trip will include Eliana Pilintsi, Senior Recruitment Officer at Richmond who is also studying Luxury Brand Management.  Look out next week for updates from Eliana on the trip!
