The first of our alumni to take part in a new series of our ‘Tried & True’ initiative is Damien Ashton-Wellman, who graduated in 2017 with a Major in Communications and a Minor in Film Studies, as well as being a former President of the Student Government Association. Damien is now London Vice-Chair of the Royal Television Society and works in account management for Visual Data Media.
Damien said:
“I found my voice and passion for what I do at Richmond. The unique liberal arts degree helped me blend my interests in business and the creative, and has since given me maximum flexibility in my career.”
Damien started his career in documentary film, before moving into marketing and B2B events.

Visual Data is a global provider of post-production, localisation, and digital media supply chain technology, helping Hollywood’s largest studios and indie distributors.
