Welcome to the School of Applied Liberal Arts. The Applied Liberal Arts Programme forms an integral and integrated part of all BA (Hons) and BSc (Hons) degrees at Richmond American University in London.

The programme aims to combine the breadth of a liberal arts education with the practical skills necessary for today’s world. The applied liberal arts education aims to empower students to solve problems, adapt, and collaborate. It also prepares students to foster their responsibility as citizens with a value foundation in equality, equity and diversity. With the integrated service-learning component we wish to educate students to become graduates who are sought after by employers.

The liberal arts education seeks to enhance students’ personal and social development, providing them with self-confidence, self-understanding and a sense of social responsibility.
