About

Originally from Texas in the United States, I am a trained professional actor and entrepreneur who has dedicated my life to education. I have been lucky enough to work all over the US and world as an actor and educator, and have now settled in the UK to focus on business education and leadership. Former posts include Assistant professor of Theatre at Austin Community College and Recruiter at Hallmark University.

With experience in talent management, voice over work, and a passion for business, I continue to work in the entertainment industry as a voice over and stage actor along with my work as an educator. I continue to research the connection between business and the entertainment industry, more specifically production of theatre in the United Kingdom.

  • MBA with Distinction. Richmond American University in London
  • MFA Acting and Directing. University of Missouri – Kansas City
  • BA Hons. Musical Theatre. West Texas A&M University

As a former student at Richmond and now a professor, I have a unique understanding of both sides of the educational journey. My past experience as a theatre educator in of primary schools, upper schools, undergraduate and graduate courses has given me an in-depth insight to the needs of students at all levels. I am passionate about ensuring my courses are hands on, not just lecture based, and I often incorporate relevant theatre exercises within my business courses to ensure an interactive learning approach.
