Author: Richmond American University London
On Friday, 23rd August, President Professor Phil Deans welcomed Mr Hu Gang, General Manager of Zhejiang Hangzhou Iron & Steel Vocational Education Group Co., Ltd. (ZHISVEG), to our Chiswick campus. The meeting included the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at exploring the collaboration between the two institutions.
The international partnership looks to develop a range of opportunities, including dual degree programmes, international articulation programmes, winter and summer schools in London, two-way student exchange programmes, and executive education courses. This partnership promises to create valuable opportunities for students and academics, fostering international connections and expanding educational horizons.
ZHISVEG is part of Hangzhou Iron & Steel Group Co., Ltd., a major Chinese state-owned company. The group manages two higher education colleges in China, runs two post-doctoral research stations, and leads the China Yangtze River Delta Higher Education Association, which includes 109 institutions and over 1.1 million students.
This new partnership is a great opportunity for our university, opening up new international connections and creating exciting opportunities for all members of the Richmond community.
