On Wednesday 19 November 2025, representatives from Jiangxi Science & Technology Normal University (JXSTNU) visited Richmond American University London at Chiswick Park campus to explore opportunities for developing Transnational Education (TNE) collaborations and Study Abroad initiatives.
During the visit, both universities expressed strong mutual interest in establishing high-quality, sustainable TNE partnerships. Discussions included plans to begin curriculum mapping and academic quality review processes, with collaboration expected to span key subject areas such as Business, Computer Science and Visual Communication.
Both universities share a strong commitment to global engagement and student development, providing an ideal foundation for delivering well-rounded academic experiences. JXSTNU is recognised for its applied education model, particularly in Business, Engineering and Design-related disciplines, while Richmond offers the distinctive dual UK/US degree, a vibrant international learning environment, and established strengths in Business, Computer Science and Communications.
The two parties also explored the potential development of a two-way Study Abroad initiative, designed to support both short-term mobility and semester-long exchange opportunities. This initiative aims to enhance students’ intercultural competence, broaden their global perspectives, and deepen academic collaboration across both institutions.
To formalise their shared intentions, representatives signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), marking an important milestone in the development of future joint initiatives. The emerging partnership promises to bring valuable international learning opportunities to students from both universities.
