Richmond American University London is pleased to announce that we have been awarded 4 QS Stars overall in recognition of our excellence across multiple areas – with 5 Stars awarded for Employability, Global Engagement, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, and Programme Strength.
What is the QS Stars Rating?
Launched in 2009, the QS Stars system helps prospective students identify their best-fit universities and gives institutions a framework to showcase areas of excellence and highlight where they’re growing. It’s a tool used globally by institutions to enhance reputation, drive outcomes, and benchmark against others on the world stage.
Each university is evaluated across nine categories, with an overall rating of one to five stars awarded.
For Richmond, the results reflect a university that is truly international, deeply committed to employability and inclusion, and bold in its ambitions.

“Being awarded 4 QS Stars overall – and 5 Stars in areas like Employability, Global Engagement, and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion – is a powerful endorsement of who we are and what we stand for.
At Richmond, we respect values every day. With students and staff from all over the world, unity in diversity isn’t just something we say – it’s something we do. That’s what makes this recognition so meaningful.
Our 5 Star Employability rating reflects the impact of our integrated internships and real-world experience – it’s proof that our distinctive liberal arts model is setting students up for success.
This achievement is a testament to the dedication, passion, and hard work of our staff, students, and partners over the past few years. I couldn’t be prouder of what we’ve built together – and I’m excited about where we go next.”
