Dr Theano Lianidou, Associate Professor in Management at Richmond, recently co-organised and facilitated a Research Development Workshop hosted by the British Academy of Management (BAM) Leadership and Leadership Development Special Interest Group.
Held online on last Friday, the event featured a Meet-the-Editors session and idea development groups led by editors from leading academic journals. Participants praised the workshop for its insightfulness, practical value, and engaging atmosphere.
Reflecting on the event, Dr Lianidou said:
“It was a pleasure to work with Christian Harrison, Chair of BAM’s Leadership and Leadership Development SIG, as well as Ijeoma Ukeni, the SIG’s Event Coordinator. The contributions of Doris Schedlitzki, Editor-in-Chief of Leadership, and David Sarpong, Editor of Strategy and Leadership, were invaluable. Overall, it was a well-attended event, during which participants had an opportunity to discuss their research ideas in order to develop them further. Participant feedback was overwhelmingly positive.”
More information about the event is available on the BAM website.
