RIASA hits Spain this week with San Sebastián showcase tour

RIASA is excited to announce plans for this year’s showcase tour which will take place from Tuesday 7th March – Thursday 9th March 2023.
RIASA student-athletes and staff will be heading to the stunning resort town of San Sebastián, home of LaLiga side Real Sociedad who currently sit third in the table underneath Barcelona and Real Madrid.
During the visit to Spain, RIASA will be staying at Olarain Hotel, with the students having unprecedented access to the world-class facilities on offer at Real Sociedad.
In addition to training sessions and a stadium tour there will be two competitive showcase fixtures against Real Sociedad academy on Wednesday 8th March.
The training sessions and both showcase fixtures will take place at Sociedad’s Zubieta training ground. Nestled away in the hillside, this high-quality training facility offers a once in a lifetime playing opportunity for RIASA student-athletes.
Showcase tours are an excellent and exciting opportunity for the programme and the student-athletes who are involved, highlighting the talent amongst the RIASA roster in a highly competitive professional setting.
This European tour once again highlights the unbelievable opportunities that are available at RIASA which include culturally rewarding experiences where RIASA players compete against some of the best professional academies in the world.
