Join David Meyer, MFA Associate Professor Studio and Digital Arts, Digital Arts, Liberty University , Virginia, USA and explore the intersection of AI and creativity, focusing on AI’s role in art and design. This talk discusses AI’s limitations, including its inability to understand historical context or emotions, and the biases it can perpetuate. It will look at how AI is used as a tool for rapid ideation, but why human intuition, empathy, and cultural insight are still essential for true creative expression. It will also address the ethical considerations and the future of human AI collaboration in the arts.
