A Successful 2025 Graduation Day!

Joy, pride, and accomplishment filled the air as students, faculty, families, and friends gathered for Graduation Day this weekend. The event marked the culmination of years of hard work, dedication, and resilience, as graduates received their degrees in a grand ceremony held at The Royal Geographical Society in South Kensington.
The first ceremony was closed by student speaker Iman Hafeez, graduating with an MA in Luxury Brand Management. The second ceremonies had two student speakers, Liliia Panbukchain, graduating with a BA in Business Management: Entrepreneurship, and Kadiatu Summah, graduating with a BA in Film and Photography. “Know that there is still time to learn, to grow, and to thrive. You are not late,” Kadiatu told the crowd.
Our honorary graduate, Sergio Burani, was awarded a doctorate in Business Administration in recognition of his contributions to photography and philanthropy. “The whole world is a village,” Burani ended his speech, honouring the cross-cultural connections of his life’s work and Richmond’s global student base.
Our Vice President, Phil Deans, commended the graduates for their perseverance, especially those who faced challenges during the global pandemic. The ceremony concluded with the traditional cap toss, a symbolic moment of achievement and new beginnings. For many, Graduation Day was not only a celebration of academic milestones but also a reflection of personal growth, friendships, and unforgettable experiences at Richmond. As the graduates embark on their next chapter, they carry with them the knowledge, skills, and memories that will shape their future endeavours.
If you missed it, you can catch both ceremonies on our livestream here.
Congratulations to the class of 2025!
