Firstly, I would like to take this opportunity to say a massive CONGRATS to all the graduates who have worked so hard even with the current times. Seeing the photos on the university Instagram page of my fellow students in graduate gowns and hats is a feeling that truly warms my heart and I truly wish them all the best in their futures.
I myself have been looking forward to graduating this year. I have now completed all my assignments in my part-time MA course and the past two years have at times been challenging with having some difficulties in the work, but my tutors have been great support along with my fellow students as we motivate each other.
In my course I have had assignments that involve group work and through this I have learnt how passionate we can become with our chosen subjects. Through these projects, I have had the opportunity to develop a pretend press conference in the PR Practice module, taken the role of a Finance Director in the Advertising Practice module and got to make a mini advert on perfume in the Marketing in a Digital World module which was useful practical experience and these tasks have taught me how to work in a team at masters level.
Summer is upon us and we are slowly starting to get out of lockdown restrictions which is a true relief. We can finally meet friends and family at cafes and restaurants even if it means being outside and braving the awkward UK weather! I am looking forward to going to all the places I have been longing to go to such as Thorpe Park, museums, and hopefully face-face events one day. Hopefully, we can go on campus soon too!
In the meantime, I will be giving my wardrobe a tidy for all the outfits I want to wear and will be starting my Professional Research Project.
