Recently, as students gathered to the eagerly awaited Career Fair, the university lobby was converted into a centre of professional prospects. The event gave students a chance to network with companies, learn about different career options, and get a step closer to landing jobs in their selected fields.
“Students must take advantage of every opportunity to learn about business and introduce themselves to future employers,” said Maria Theodosopoulou, our Careers Support Officer, summarizing the event. Due to the variety of positions available in marketing, finance, and part-time work, this event pushed students to make a strong impression on potential employers. As students actively participated in meaningful interactions with officials from leading organizations, her remarks impacted throughout the gathering.
Interacting with Industry Leaders

The event this year featured a wide range of companies, all of which provided graduate programs, internships, and part-time positions across several industries. Students gained important knowledge about their fields and the skill sets needed to succeed from these organizations. Some of the participating companies included:
Floral Street – A luxury fragrance company that is known for its environmentally friendly and sustainable scents. They were hiring for internships, marketing, and public relations (PR) positions, giving students the opportunity to work in product promotion, branding, and storytelling.
Absolute Internships – A well-known worldwide website that links students with top internships in a range of sectors. Their programs prepare students for their professional careers by assisting them in gaining practical experience and developing essential industrial skills.
Sunrise Recruitment – A leading recruitment agency specializing in staffing, temporary placements, and internships. They sought candidates for office assistant, desk assistant, and business development roles, making it an excellent choice for students looking to gain corporate experience.
Talk 2 Dan – A modern facilities media company that specializes in content production and digital marketing. By offering apprenticeships, they gave students the chance to enter the media industry and develop their strategic and creative abilities.
CRCC Asia – One of the top organizations for worldwide internships, gives students access to chances in marketing, technology, law, and finance. Through their programs, students can broaden their worldwide job options and immerse themselves in a variety of corporate cultures.
MontBridge Group – A reputable company consulting organization that specializes in strategic growth and development. Ideal for students hoping for significant corporate positions, they were seeking applicants with an interest in consulting, company development, and strategic planning.
The Career & Networking event was a huge success, giving students a great opportunity to network with professionals in the field, look into job openings, and improve their employability. I spoke to a member of CRCC Asia, where they provide internships for students in many departments around Asia. As a Business Management major, I’m now looking into the IT roles they offer which could bring me a step closer to my career goal.
Don’t worry if you missed this event, fellow students! Stay tuned for upcoming events and career fairs; you never know when your next significant chance might present itself. Keep preparing, continue to network, and never forget that your future begins today!
