Wish You Were Here: The Story of Tourism in Richmond
Author: Richmond American University London
We’re delighted to announce our sponsorship of a new exhibition by the Museum of Richmond, Wish You Were Here: from Horace Walpole to Ted Lasso.
On display are over 30 artworks by local Art and Design students, created in response to the theme of Tourism and inspired by objects from the Museum’s collection. Visitors can see how Richmond first attracted tourists and keeps them coming after 300 years.
The exhibition has been organised with Richmond upon Thames College, who are using the exhibition as inspiration for students’ final A-level projects.

Our thanks to Professor Nicola Mann, a Trustee of the Museum of Richmond, for connecting us with this opportunity for student artists to shine.
We enjoy supporting cultural spaces like the Museum of Richmond as they provide valuable places for students to learn and cultivate their creative identities, contributing to the rich culture of our wider Richmond community.
Wish You Were Here: from Horace Walpole to Ted Lasso is a free exhibition and is open from July to December 2024 at the Museum of Richmond.
