Thank you to the International Maritime Organisation
Author: Richmond American University London
Our International Relations students were delighted to visit the International Maritime Organisation (IMO) recently, where they had the opportunity to observe the Marine Environmental Protection Committee in action. The chair of the Session also welcomed our students, staff and faculty as guests.
Three diplomats from the Bahamas, Tonga, and Canada gave a talk to our students on how to get a foot in the door with UN careers and outlined different international opportunities and pathways to our students.

We’d like to say a massive thank you to the IMO for their time and look forward to continuing our partnership with them. Our students really enjoyed the visit and we look forward to organising more joint initiatives, including a visit to our Richmond campus this week.
If any students are interested in doing an internship see here for more details.
Our Internships team would also really welcome approaches from organisations who are interested in our students doing an internship with them. Contact us here.
