Strengthening Global Partnerships: Richmond’s Collaborative Provision Team Visits China
Author: Richmond American University London
In November 2025, Richmond’s Collaborative Provision team completed a comprehensive round of engagement visits to three validated partner institutions in China: Jiangxi Institute of Technology (JXIT), Guangzhou College of Applied Science and Technology (GCAST), and Yantai Institute of Science and Technology (YIST).
Led by Academic Registrar Kelli Wolfe, the delegation also included Safina Allidina (Deputy Registrar, Quality Assurance), Yanbin Lu (Academic Lead for Collaborative Provision) and Lan Deng (Collaborative Provision Projects Manager). The visit provided an opportunity to engage with partners in China, supporting the ongoing development and quality of Richmond UK-validated programmes while deepening our collaborative relationships.
Across an intensive nine-day schedule, the team connected with senior academic management and registry teams, collaborated closely with UK-validated programme teams, and delivered student workshops. The itinerary also included campus tours, classroom observations, and insightful discussions with students and colleagues involved in programmes currently undergoing validation.
These visits strengthened relationships, deepened mutual understanding, and continue to build strong momentum for the next phase of collaborative provision development. As validated programmes continue to grow and evolve, the connections built across JXIT, GCAST, and YIST will remain central to delivering an exceptional student experience.
