Richmond wins three awards in higher education global rankings

We’re delighted to announce that the University has won three awards in the World University Rankings for Innovation (The WURI).
The WURI assesses higher education institutions across the world through their contributions to industry and society, highlighting innovative education, research, and engagement in society. The rankings aim to spotlight higher education institutions that excel in their innovative approaches, inspiring advancements across the academic and societal landscape.
The three categories where the University has won awards, with their positions, are Global Resilience (2nd), Social Responsibility (54th) and Student Support and Engagement (86th), with over 1,000 global higher education institutions participating in the awards.
Richmond President and Vice Chancellor, Professor Phil Deans, said, “We are very pleased to see the achievements of our faculty, staff and students recognised in the WURI rankings, demonstrating our position as a leading university for fostering innovation. Our success in these awards is a result of the collective effort and dedication of everyone at Richmond.
