If you’d like to explore how businesses can transform themselves by adopting a more humane approach, please join the Wellbeing Research Centre (WRC) which is hosting an online talk by Dr Bruno Cignacco, our Adjunct Associate Professor of Marketing Ethics, on Friday 22 March, 2.00-3.00pm.
Dr Cignacco’s talk will focus on the second edition of his book, ‘The Art of Compassionate Business, Main Principles for the Human-Oriented Enterprise’ published by Routledge.
In his talk, Dr Cignacco will explore, “Is there a way to perform business activities more humanely?”.
He says, “The second edition of my book challenges the reader to change the way they perform in business situations and become more focused on the human aspects of business activities. The users of this knowledge and those affected by them will undergo a profound transformation in the way they perform business activities. When readers put these principles into practice, positive ripple effects are bound to affect other stakeholders of the organisation they work for or own.”
Dr Bruno Cignacco is an international business consultant, TEDx speaker, and business coach. For over 30 years, he has advised and trained hundreds of companies on international trade activities and international marketing. He teaches business modules, both at undergraduate and at postgraduate levels, at various universities in the UK.
