International Programmes Team Hosts Welcome Drinks for New Visiting Students

The International Programmes Team kicked off the semester in style by hosting a Welcome Drinks event at The Gunnersbury pub, where we were thrilled to greet our new visiting students. The event welcomed an enthusiastic group of first-year students from the University of Southern California (USC), Tulane University, and Southern Methodist University (SMU), as well as direct visitors and students from our partner universities across the globe.

A special highlight of the evening was the presence of Richmond alumnus Chris Aguilar, Class of 2007, who joined us to share his journey and offer valuable insights from his career in communications and the performing arts. Chris’s talk provided our students with an inspiring perspective on navigating their own career paths and future opportunities.

The event was a wonderful evening of networking and community-building, marking the start of an exciting academic year ahead! We look forward to many more moments of collaboration, learning, and growth.
