Guest Talk on Intracommunity relations after transitional justice: The case of Bloody Sunday
Author: Richmond American University London
Join us for a guest talk by Dr Tom Bentley (University of Abderdeen) on Bloody Sunday.
Tuesday 18th March 2pm-13:20 pm in Classroom F01 (Chiswick Park Campus)
It is commonly assumed that transitional justice measures enhance inter-community relations in the aftermath of atrocity. In this talk, Dr Tom Bentley (University of Aberdeen) will focus on the families of those murdered by the British Army on Bloody Sunday in Derry in 1972 to consider how transitional justice mechanisms can affect intracommunity relations.
