Get £500 for Korean Language Studies at Richmond

We are delighted to announce a new £500 cash scholarship for students of Korean language, thanks to the generous support of Samyang Foods.
Samyang Foods, founded in 1961 in Seoul, holds the distinction of being South Korea’s very first instant noodle maker, debuting Korea’s first instant noodles in 1963. They have since become a global powerhouse with distribution in the U.S, Japan, Indonesia, and Europe.
The scholarship will be awarded to students enrolled in KOR4101 (Korean Language Beginner 1) and KOR5101 (Korean Language Beginner 2) during Fall 2025, as well as those who previously completed KOR4100 with strong academic and attendance records.
Scholarship Details:
Award Amount: £500 per recipient
Eligibility:
- Current Fall 2025 students in KOR4101/KOR5101 (minimum B grade + 70% attendance required)
- Students who completed KOR4100 with B grade + 70% attendance in previous Spring 2025 semester
