Checking out career options at West London Summit

Hi, my name is Maria Theodosopoulou and I am the Careers Support Officer at Richmond.
I’m here to support students in investigating pathways that will enhance their employability when they leave the University. I can help with CV support, interview preparation and guide students through part-time work experience and more.
One of the events I attended recently to check out opportunities for our students was the West London Youth Careers Summit.
The keynote speakers at this event were Seema Malhotra, MP for Feltham and Heston (Hounslow)/ Shadow Minister for Skills and LJ Rawlings, Founder and CEO of Youth Employment UK.
It was a great opportunity to discuss topics like work experience, special educational needs and inclusive recruitment as well as a local skills improvement plan in West London across a wide range of sectors.
