🎓 Student Exhibition: Do You Know Your SDGs?
Author: Richmond American University London
On 28 March, students from the MGT 5415 Governance and Sustainability course hosted an engaging exhibition titled “Do You Know Your SDGs?” in the university’s reception area. The event invited the university community to explore how the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) apply to real-world industries such as video streaming, restaurant chains, and fashion.
As part of the exhibition, students presented projects that connected the SDGs to corporate practices, offering practical insights into how global goals can guide sustainability strategies across different sectors. The event was enriched by expert contributions, including an in-person talk by Dr. Caleb Turner on sustainability in the video streaming industry. A few days later, students also had the opportunity to engage with Jenny Valfre, Europe Head of Marketing at Chipotle, who spoke to the class about sustainability efforts within the restaurant sector.
This interactive showcase highlighted student research and demonstrated how academic learning connects directly to global business challenges and opportunities in sustainability.
