The long-term influencers are then also studied and interpreted, so that the best use of the companies offering (its products and services) can be best utilised for maximum profit. Required elements of the marketing major are courses in Advertising, Management, Consumer Behaviour, Market Research, and Marketing Strategy.

Testimonials

I graduated from Richmond in 2008 with a BA in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing. From 2009-2010, I worked for Richmond within the Middle East Recruitment and Admission team. Presently, I now work as the Public Relations & Marketing Coordinator at Le Royal Meridien Abu Dhabi.
I was interested in coming to Richmond because of its diverse culture and my own desire to live and study in London. I chose to study a major in marketing because I enjoy the creative processes involved in the development of new ideas.

I graduated from Richmond in 2011 with my degree in BA Business Administration: Marketing and a Minor in Theatre. I chose to study at Richmond because of its location and international experience. During my time at Richmond, my favourite lecturer was Dr. Barclay for the reason that he was the best professor of theatre. Dr. Barclay had the best capability of grabbing my attention and keeping me interested. In every one of his classes, I learned something new.
My time at Richmond prepared me for my career path through the willingness of the professors. They are always willing to give advice on which career path to take and whether your current path is the correct one. Not many people realize the advantage this is for university students and how I regret not taking full advantage of it.
My advice for current students who are looking to start their career is to follow your gut feeling, don’t jump start your career. Take your time travelling, understanding different cultures, doing small jobs along the way. After a few years at a job, no one cares about what you studied, but what you have to say. It is because of Richmond that I had the opportunity to follow my gut and accept the job offer as an Account Manager for Amazon, Italy location.
