Courtfield Gardens

Courtfield GardensCourtfield Gardens is literally just a couple of minutes’ walk from Collingham Gardens. It’s not managed by Richmond University, but by a friendly company called Studio Let, who own the building and look after it very well.

Courtfield has a very modern feel about it and benefits from being finished to a high standard, with all new fittings everywhere. Accommodating 73 students, living here is ideal if you like to mingle with your friends and fellow students regularly, there’s a common area on the ground floor, which has a TV; offering a great place to hang out and socialise. Living at Courtfield also allows you to be able to escape up to your room for uninterrupted study; offering the best of both worlds.

Just five minutes’ walk away are Earl’s Court Tube Station and the amenities of Earl’s Court Road, including familiar shops like Sainsbury’s, Boots and M&S. There’s also a gym five minutes away (part of Soho Gyms – the Earls Court branch), and a wellness centre and dentist.

The bedrooms are of varying sizes – double and single rooms are available. Every room includes:

  • En suite facilities
  • Flat screen TV
  • A kitchenette, which includes a sink, stove, fridge (which has a freezer box), kettle and microwave

At Courtfield you can cook for yourself or eat at Atlantic House cafeteria using the pay-as-you-go catering scheme. You also do your own cleaning, laundry and trash, but you can choose to pay to have your room cleaned. There are token-operated laundry services on-site.

Courtfield also benefits from having Wi-Fi access throughout the building and a lift, plus you will also have access to all of the facilities available at Atlantic House.
