Spring Time

Hello all,

I hope all is well and you are getting into the swing of things. We are now in Springtime which is a relief for many after the cold dark months.

During colder months, we dream of seeing new flowers grow, having certain fruits back in season such as yummy cherries and making mid-year resolutions. We will soon be able to ditch our thick woolly jumpers for colorful T-shirts, and maybe do some grilling if we are lucky with the London weather this year. Further, Easter is also on the way which always brings a new sense of change too many.

Spring is the time to have a recharge with your fast paced life and set new goals and we can choose a path that is exciting for us so we can feel fulfilment and joy.

Spring in London is always good as I love going to the unique cafes for tea and cake.

The photo above is from March 2019 when I went with a best friend to the popular Elan Café in Oxford Street, London, which is definitely worth a visit. I remember feeling a sense of bliss and relaxation that Spring can bring such as the fresh breeze on your skin when you first walk out of the door after a long Winter. Spring can also help you with your motivation such as ‘Spring cleaning’ as you can check everything you have in your room and organize things you don’t need making you feel more relaxed and at peace. So, there are many things to look forward to in the months of March and April.

I am also nearly at the end of my part-time MA course with one module left and then my Thesis so that will be an interesting experience indeed!

Good luck with all your assignments and enjoy the change of season.

Like Leo Tolstoy says, ‘Spring is the time of plans and projects.
