Richmond University to host debate on PR and Artificial Intelligence

This year’s Public Relations and Communications Association Fellows and Richmond University Annual Debate will focus on the implications of Artificial Intelligence on the future of the PR industry. It will be held from 6pm on Wednesday 13 June in the Lecture Theatre in 17 Young Street, Kensington Campus, followed by drinks.

The PRCA Fellows will debate the following motion:”The workforce in public relations will considerably reduce as a result of Artificial Intelligence and automation“. The event will be chaired by David Gallagher FPRCA, Chairman of the PRCA Fellows and President, Growth and Development, International, Omnicom Public Relations Group and Trustee of Richmond University.

The motion will be debated by the following leading practitioners:

Iain Anderson FPRCA – Executive Chairman – Cicero,
Brandy Fleming MPRCA – Managing Director & Senior Partner – Fleishman Hillard Fishburn,
Simon Goldsworthy FPRCA – Professor of PR and Advertising – Richmond University,
Jane Howard FPRCA – Partner – Reputability, Katie King CMPRCA – MD – Zoodikers, Stephen Waddington FPRCA – Partner and Chief Engagement Officer – Ketchum.
