Richmond remembers Bill Paxton

It is with great sadness that we have learnt of the death of actor Bill Paxton, who passed away on Saturday, 25th February at the age of 61. Bill Paxton attended Richmond as a study abroad student from New York University through our partner organisation the American Institute for Foreign Study in 1973.

Bill Paxton was a talented actor, director and producer and has starred in a number of success films including The Terminator, Apollo 13, Weird Science, Twister, Aliens, True Lies, and Titanic. On the small screen, his work included HBO’s Big Love, The History  Channel’s Hatfields & McCoys and ABC’s Agents of Shield.

Our thoughts are with his family at this sad time.
