Carola Hieker - Associate Prof of Business Management

Richmond Professor to share insights at global conference

How to achieve leadership in a volatile world

Dr Carola Hieker, Professor of Organisational Behaviour and Leadership at Richmond, will be one of the keynote speakers at an international conference being held in person for the first time in three years –  the IFES World Summit 2022 being held in Amsterdam from 15-17 June 2022.

The International Federation of Exhibition & Event Services (IFES) is the worldwide trade association dedicated to the providers of tradeshow and events services. Over 200 companies representing more than 40 countries are network members, representing an industry with 4.8 million exhibitors every year.

The 2022 World Summit brings together industrial professionals and many business owners from all over the world to a ‘family’ gathering of the global exhibition and event service provider industry.

Dr Hieker, who will be speaking at the event about leadership in the VUCA (Volatile, Uncertain, Complex and Ambiguous) world, commented:

Building excellent relationships is key for a sustainable business and I am delighted to share management and leadership insights with the participants of this conference on how they can enhance relationships within each industry sector for the benefit of their own organisations.  This is also a great opportunity to promote the international profile of the University in a wide range of industries.
