Museum of Richmond planning Queen’s Road exhibition

,

The Museum of Richmond has an exciting special exhibitions programme with two exhibitions each year and an active events programme to accompany them.

The major exhibition for 2020 will be of particular interest to alumni of the University as it will tell the story of nine houses on Queen’s Road, near where the campus is based.

‘Victoria to Elizabeth Social Change in the Queen’s Road 1850 – 1950’ will highlight the architectural significance of some of the finest Victorian town houses in Richmond alongside the social history, telling the story of how these buildings were used and who occupied them.

If you have not visited the Museum, they would very much like to welcome you to this special exhibition. See the website for visit information and sign up for the newsletter to keep up to date with what’s on.

The Museum is currently seeking support towards creating the Queen’s Road exhibition. Please get in touch for more information about how you can contribute to it.
