Last week of term!
Hi everyone!
It’s the last week of term which means you’re all probably busy flying home, submitting assignments and studying for finals. This day last year I flew home from studying abroad in Florida! I submitted my dissertation last week, but it will probably be a while before I get my final grade as the project is marked by three examiners. I have one final exam for my Country Risk Analysis class and studying for that has kept me busy. Next term I’m taking four classes; Photography, Consumer Behaviour, Fashion Marketing and Brand Management.
The last couple weeks have been quite busy in the lead up to Christmas. My sister turned 25 last week so we went to some nice restaurants such as STK and 100 Wardour Street. My local shopping centre in Essex opened a winter wonderland with ice skating and market stalls, which was fun to visit. Yesterday I visited the Harry Potter studios in Watford, and it was decorated for their ‘Hogwarts in the Snow’ Christmas event. Here’s a photo from there; if you go I recommend trying the butterbeer but as you may see from the photo, the cream does tend to get all over your mouth!
This semester has been one of the strangest during my time at Richmond but hopefully things may become more normal again in January. I hope you’ve all seen some of the benefits of both virtual and in-person classes and have a safe and happy Christmas!
Until next time,
-Zara
