Are you free on Wednesday 14 April from 4.00-5.30pm (BST)?  Then join Dr Kandida Purnell, Assistant Professor of International Relations at Richmond, for the launch of her new book, ‘Rethinking the Body in Global Politics: Bodies, Body Politics, and The Body Politic in a Time of Pandemic’, published by Routledge. Dr Purnell’s book rethinks the body in global politics and the particular roles bodies play in our international system.

Dr Purnell will be joined by Dr Paul Rekret and an expert panel of International Relations theorists from universities in the UK, US and New Zealand for a fascinating discussion on the significance of bodies in global politics in relation to the COVID-19 pandemic and other global events and processes.

Please email purnelk@richmond.ac.uk to register your interest in attending and receive the event log in details.
