Join highly distinguished speakers for conference on Latin America
If you’re free on Friday 6th December, 10am to 6pm, you can join an illustrious set of academic speakers for a conference on Challenges for Latin America in the Age of Globalisation in the Senior Common Room, St Mary’s University, Twickenham.
The Research Centre for the Study of the State, Power and Globalisation at Richmond, The American International University in London and the Politics and International Relations programme at St Mary’s University, Twickenham, are co-hosting this full-day, interdisciplinary conference.
The purpose of the event is to share the research findings of established and emerging scholars, as well as advanced graduate students who specialise in contemporary Latin America.
Richmond’s very own Dr Daliany Jerónimo Kersh will be speaking about ‘Fighting for the Right’, with an analysis of conservative Brazilian women from the military dictatorship (1964-1985) to Jair Bolsonaro’s Presidency (2018-).
