A two day field trip to Florence is included in the fee. Optional field trips to Venice and to Sorrento, Pompeii, Naples and Capri island are available.

Program at a glance

  • 3, 4, or 7-week summer program in Rome, Italy
  • Open to high school graduates, college freshmen, sophomores, juniors and seniors
  • No previous Italian language study required
  • Minimum 2.5 GPA required (2.0 and above considered on a case by case basis)
  • Program fee includes tuition, housing, meals, excursions and cultural activities, day trips, and more.
  • 3-week students earn up to 3 semester credits; 4-week students earn up to 7 semester credits, 7-week students earn up to 10 semester credits
  • Courses offered in art, art history, communications, fashion, history, Italian language, photography, religion and sociology
  • The local Dean and staff organize cultural activities and housing, act as a liaison between students and the university, and are available 24/7 in case of emergencies
  • One official copy of the transcript will be mailed to the student’s home college or university.
