“Halfway through the semester already”

Hi everyone! We are exactly halfway through the semester and its going so quickly! I’m taking six classes this term which is a lot (especially on Tuesdays and Thursdays because my schedule goes from 9am to 9pm) but luckily, I don’t have classes on Fridays, so I use that as my ‘catch up on work’ day. I am looking into summer internships to be on the marketing team of television companies and I have an interview in a few days! As I’m graduating a semester early, I don’t have very much time left at university and so I’m trying to make the most of it now.

I live at the Kensington campus now which is so nice because its already in central London and so if I want to do anything in the city, it takes about 15 minutes to get there. My sister and I went to a Jonas Brothers concert together and she stayed in my room after; it took her 20 minutes to get to work whereas it usually takes her an hour from Essex! I’ve been home once since the term started and that was when I was really ill and needed to see my doctor. Everyone thought I was being dramatic until the doctor gave me a note to say I was not well enough to go to classes or work for a week…luckily I’m all better now!

I’m spending the break at home to catch up on all the work I need to do and its been so nice relaxing with my family. When I come back after the break, I already have some fun things planned to look forward to. My friend who studied abroad at Richmond in first year is coming to visit for a week and we’re planning to go to Ballie Ballerson and do other fun things while she’s here.

I’m still waiting for my midterm grades back, but I got full marks in an essay I handed in a few weeks ago so I’m feeling okay about my grades right now! During this term, I’ve been going out into central London more, going to restaurants like Café Concerto and he summer camp I worked for organised a camp reunion in Covent Garden which was so much fun.

Until next time,

-Zara
