Find ‘Time to Talk’ on Thursday

,

It’s Time to Talk Day on Thursday 2 February, an annual event for friends, families, communities, and workplaces to come together to talk, listen and change lives.

The day, which is run by Mind and Rethink Mental Illness, is all about creating supportive communities by having conversations about mental health.

According to the charities, one in four of us will experience a mental health problem in any given year.

They say, ‘Talking about mental health reduces stigma, helping to create supportive communities where we can talk openly about mental health and feel empowered to seek help when we need it.’

To mark the day and encourage everyone in the community at Richmond to get involved, the Student Affairs team is creating ‘Talk Tables’ in the main reception area at the Chiswick Park campus from 12.00-2.00pm on Thursday.

Do please join our Student Affairs team and make space in your day for a conversation about mental health this Time to Talk Day.
