Final year students showcase their business industry flair
Twenty-six of our Richmond Business School students put on a fantastic show recently with a poster exhibition they had created to highlight their senior projects.
Dr Theano Lianidou, Associate Professor of Management at the University, who organised the event, commented, “I was delighted to see so many of our students present their work, and we had very good faculty, staff and student attendance. The quality of the work was high; I was incredibly proud of how hard the students worked.”
Although the high standards of student work made it a challenging task to select some winning entries, the following student awards were announced at the end of the event:
- Best participation: Chelle Alonza for her project investigating the feasibility of launching an app on hair literacy, a social entrepreneurship initiative
- Insightfulness: Jonathan Huntley for his project investigating the profitability of single vs combined indicators from technical analysis on large-cap and mid-cap bank stocks on the London Stock Exchange’s FTSE 100 from 2013-2023
- Engagement: Bryan Cortright for his project using the case of the alcoholic beverage industry to analyse ESG integration in the private sector
- Wellbeing Research Centre Prize: Alicia Flavell for her qualitative study aiming to uncover the effect of fashion brands greenwashing on consumer buying behaviour.
Congratulations to all of the students for a great event!
