Dr Mary Robert
Dean, School of Liberal Arts
Originally from the USA, Mary Robert has lived and worked as artist and academic in London since 1978. She earned her BA from the University of Akron in Ohio, USA, and her MA from the Royal College of Art in London, UK. Currently Professor of Lens Media and Dean, School of General Education at Richmond, the American International University in London, she also taught for several years at the Royal College of Art. Robert has worked on many commercial and fine art projects in the UK, Europe, Africa, Asia and the Americas. Her photographs are widely published, internationally exhibited and collected both privately and publicly. She is particularly well known for her portrait work including portraits of a wide range of international classical musicians.
