Professor Trevor Morris
Trevor Morris is Professor in Public Relations at Richmond University, Fellow of the PRCA and holds the ‘Mark Mellor Award for Outstanding Contribution to the PR Industry.’
He was formerly the CEO of Chime Public Relations, Europe’s biggest PR group. As a public relations consultant he led campaigns for clients ranging from Unilever, BT, British Gas, AVIVA, Bayer Agrochemicals and Bells Whiskey through to government departments and agencies covering transport, trade, education and media.
In 2013 he was one of the three experts who reviewed the communication capability at No 10 Downing Street and the Cabinet Office. He is currently a member of the Government Communication Service Peer Network.
Former colleagues range from Lord Tim Bell (Mrs Thatcher’s favourite PR man) through to Sophie Rhys- Jones (The Countess of Wessex).
He has lectured at The University of Westminster, City University, Exeter University, The Sorbonne, John Hopkins, Tsinghua and Richmond, The American International University where he is an Adjunct Professor. He is co-author of four books including PR Today and PR – A Persuasive Industry?
