Mr Neil Mackie
Teaching Fellow in History and American Studies
Born Elgin, Moray; a toddler in Ghana, childhood in Northamptonshire, adolescent in Northern Ireland, and for the last 40 years living in London. In London I joined LT, after 13 years as a bus conductor I went to the Polytechnic of North London for a BA Hons History, then on to the Institute of US Studies (Institute of Historical Research) for an MA Area Studies (US Studies). As well as Richmond I have taught for London Metropolitan University, the Open University and Kingston University. I’m a member of the following societies.
