Dr Shahpar Abdollahi
Assistant Professor Marketing
Shahpar holds a Ph.D. in Management Science from King’s College London. Her Doctoral research focused on innovation and the role of networks in the success of new product development. She holds a M.Sc. in International Business from the University of Groningen, with a specialisation in International Marketing. Shahpar’s first degree is a B.A. in Business Administration from The University of Alzahra, Tehran.
Before joining Richmond, Shahpar held research, lecturing and supervisory positions at King’s College London, Cranfield Business School, University of Essex, London College of Fashion (LCF) and Istituto Marangoni.
Shahpar’s broader research interests include New Product Development and Innovation, Inter-firm Relationships, Country of Origin, Sustainability and Branding. Given her professional background, she is particularly interested in Luxury Branding, Fashion Marketing and Fashion Management.
