Exploring Marketing, Ethics and new friendships
Hello again! I hope everyone is doing well. As I’m nearing the end of the semester, I thought I’d take this time to reflect on the past few months of my MBA. This time next week I’ll be handing in my last ever piece of coursework (excluding my dissertation which is still due in the end of August).
This semester was definitely the busiest one we’ve had but I still thoroughly enjoyed it. Despite being in lockdown for most of it I was still able to form new friendships through my online classes and build a closer bond with my course mates. I really enjoyed the modules we had on offer. I went for the Marketing and Ethics option and really enjoyed the conversations and case studies we had to look at. The small class made it easy for us to communicate directly with the professor and with our peers. I’ve never had so many group projects occurring in one semester, but I think that’s what made this semester feel a little bit normal as I had weekly virtual meetings with my peers to discuss the projects.
I can’t wait for the summer term to begin and for the sun to come out more! I hope everyone’s staying safe and taking a break now and again in between deadlines.
